HOW IT WORKS
​
Ultrasonic Cold Fusion is a pioneer in pre bonded techniques as the application tool tip stays cool to the touch and uses no heat to apply the bonds, unlike traditional fusion systems, making it safer for your natural hair. It is suitable for all hair thickness types, including fine
& heat sensitive hair. This latest advancement has opened up the benefits of pre bonded fusion application to a huge category of women whose fine and heat sensitive hair were unable to tolerate the harsher hot fusion systems of the past without damage over time.
With Digital Ultrasonic Cold Fusion we use a strand by strand technique to apply your extensions.

An equal ratio section of your natural hair is used to support an equal ratio weight of the strand being applied. Bonds sizes are available in original maxi 1gram strands for thick hair and Fine Hair Fillers for thin, fine hair, making this method suitable for all hair thickness types. An example of Fine Hair Fillers can be seen directly below.
The Ultrasonic Cold Fusion application tool remains cool to the touch when in use, it uses high frequency vibration technology, instead of heat, to gently modify the Keratin protein of each bond attachment into a pliable state. The bonding agent of each strand is made of Italian Keratin resin which mimics the natural protein found in hair. Italian Keratin is the finest and most superior Keratin available on the market, renowned for it's safe, durable, and water resistant qualities.
Our Cold Fusion bonds are incredibly neat and discreet. each bond is gently rolled around an equal section of your natural hair, creating a seamless, undetectable look, which is extremely comfortable to wear.
This state of the art new delivery system offers all the incredible lasting power and benefits of pre bonded hair extensions. Giving you the glamorous, natural, volume enhancing look associated with pre bonded now combined with a new gentler application process that goes even further to protect the health of your natural hair.

With Digital Ultrasonic Cold Fusion, our 0.5g Fine Hair Fillers can be used for finer hair types whose hair may be compromised by the bulk & weight of standard sized bonds. We have a great deal of experience tailoring our services for clients with fine hair.
Due to the extra small size of our Fine Hair Fillers we can achieve a look that blends realistically. The finer texture and weight of these strands integrate seamlessly with fine hair, whilst simultaneously giving you greater volume, longer length and minimising excessive strain on your natural hair.
STANDARD SIZE BONDS - MEDIUM/THICK HAIR
If you have medium or thicker hair - 1g size bonds are used to produce an effect which more naturally mirrors the look, feel, and movement of your hair type.

1. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY & HOW MANY BONDS WILL I NEED?
​
As a general time guide - a full head application typically can take approx' 6+ hours - there are variations - depending on the amount of bonds required. Alongside the results you are after such as length, &/or volume, factors including your hair thickness type/current hair length/& cut all influence how many bonds you will need. The exact amount is calculated at your consultation where we can fully assess your hair. 2. HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST?
The recommended wear time for this method is 3 months with the added advantage of no maintenance generally required between each fitting. The bonds are made out of Italian Keratin, the strongest and most durable on the market and may last far beyond this time scale, however, leaving your extensions in for longer than this, before having a new set refitted, is not advised. Your extensions have been attached to an equal ratio section of hair to bond/strand size. Hair has a natural growth, rest and shed phase and as a result we all naturally shed on average 100 hairs per day. Your natural hair shedding process reduces the amount of hairs supporting your bonds over time. 3 months is the optimum time to ensure you do not cause unnecessary damage to your hair. At this stage you should have a new set refitted in order to provide a new equal size section of natural hair to safely support the extra weight of the bond/extension strand.

3. WILL THEY SUIT MY LIFESTYLE?
Our finest Russian & Mongolian pre-bonded hair is used in conjunction with our Digital Ultrasonic Cold Fusion method. These are tipped in Italian Keratin making them durable, long lasting, and waterproof. You can be confident that even the most active lifestyles will be compatible with our bonds. You can still wear your hair in a variety and assortment of styles without any discomfort or worry of the extensions being visible. As the hair used is 100% human it can be styled with heated appliances just like your normal hair. You should, however, be prepared for a little extra maintenance to look after your new extensions, after all you will now have more hair to style than before. Consideration should also be given to the fact you will have to look after your extensions in a slightly different way than you may be used to with your natural hair.

Renowned for being one of the safest and most gentle extension methods to wear, Tape extensions are incredibly lightweight and comfortable, making them one of the best extensions for fine hair.

Tape weft extensions lay flat and smooth within the hair providing virtually undetectable results. They lay flush against your own hair so effectively that if you run your hand over the top of your hair you can barely feel them at all. Each tape weft is approx' 1.5 inches wide, is flexible, and fitted with medical grade adhesive tape on one side. For each tape weft fitted, a fine layer/section of your natural hair is placed on top of the adhesive side of a tape weft, another tape is then positioned directly on top. This creates a sandwich effect with the layer section of your natural hair secured directly between the two tape wefts. Wefts are placed in neat rows on the head to provide natural looking results. Each tape weft is secured approx' 1 cm away/down from the root area which gives them flexibility to move in tandem with your natural hair. The flexible movement of the tapes and their positioning allows you to wear a variety of styles with comfort and also confidence they will remain discreet and undetectable . As the hair used is 100% human you can style your hair with heated appliances just like your natural hair. The application technique is also customisable in terms of both tape sizes and placement areas to accommodate clients with differing hair types & needs. They are suitable for all hair types especially fine hair. The wefts are easy to remove with a specialist remover solution that releases the adhesive side of the tape, a typical removal of a full head of Tape In extensions averages at only 40 minutes.

1. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY & HOW MANY TAPES WILL I NEED?

A full head application typically takes approx' 1 to 1 & 1/2 hours to complete depending on the amount of tapes required. The amount of tapes required will alter depending on variables such as the length you desire in extension hair - i.e the difference in the extension length you want compared to the length of your natural hair, and the thickness & cut of your natural hair. The exact amount is calculated at your consultation where we can fully assess your hair.

2. HOW LONG WILL TAPE HAIR EXTENSIONS LAST?
​
​
The recommended wear time for this method is usually up to 8 weeks with the added advantage of no maintenance generally required between each fitting. The tape attachments are made from medical grade adhesive and are very durable, as a result with the correct care the adhesive may last beyond this time scale, however, you shouldn't leave your extensions in for longer than this, before having them removed, retaped & refitted. Your extensions have been attached to an optimum section of hair to accomodate the weight of the wefts. Hair has a natural growth, rest and shed phase and as a result we all naturally shed on average 100 hairs per day. Your natural hair shedding process reduces the amount of hairs supporting your attachment bonds over time. 8 weeks is the recommended time to ensure you protect the health of your natural hair. At this stage you should have your tapes removed, and refitted in order to provide an appropriate section of natural hair to safely support the extra weight of the tape weft.

3. WILL THEY SUIT MY LIFESTYLE?

The medical grade adhesive of the attachments is durable, long wearing, and waterproof. You can still wear your hair in a variety and assortment of styles without any discomfort or worry of the extensions being visible. As the hair used is 100% human it can be styled with heated appliances just like your normal hair. They are incredibly easy to remove and ultra quick to install - making them the ideal choice if you are more timestrapped than most and always on the go. You should, however, be prepared for a little extra maintenance to look after your new extensions, afterall you will now have more hair to style than before. Consideration should also be given to the fact you will have to look after your extensions in a slightly different way than you may be used to with your natural hair.

4. WILL THEY BE COMPATIBLE WITH MY HAIR TYPE?
​
This beauty of this technique is in it's incredibly versatility to matching the needs of varying hair types. They are suitable for fine, heat sensitive hair through to thick hair. They do, however, work best on normal to dry hair types. If you would class your hair as excessively oily you may find that they don't last the full predicted timespan of up to 8-12 weeks. Oils adversely affect the adhesive and will cause them to prematurely detach. If you are looking for a method to work best with oily hair then our Digital Ultrasonic Cold Fusion technique, found at the top of this page, would be the best choice.
